Now clearly I should have been cleaning instead of starting a new project but this is how I roll, I decide I want to do something and I start. This is my daughter Abby helping me. I made aprox 1" cuts along the sheet (I think it was king) and then we ripped it.
I have many loves in my life and this is one of my fur loves Meko.
After ripping all of it which I mistakenly thought would be simple and quick..ha
I then made a cut on both ends and kinda made slip knots with all of it. and rolled as I went.
I rarely work from patterns I just start and see how it goes and adjust when necessary. The down side of this is also not know how much (rag, sheet) does what. At this point I had figured a width I liked and was continuing to the length, unfortunately I realized I would run out. So as I often do I undid a bunch and decided to switch directions to get the length I wanted.
This is the finished rug, its quite soft and purfect for by the sink. I also am happy with the way it looks even though it wasn't what I had originally thought "planned" out.
The down side is it goes missing from its home as my lil love enjoys playing with it.
